Mumbai | June 24, 2025 – State Bank of India (SBI) has started the recruitment process for the post of Probationary Officer (PO), and the official notification for this has been published on the website sbi.co.in. Online applications have been invited from interested candidates from June 24 to July 7, 2025.
✅ Total Vacancies:
A total of 541 vacancies will be recruited this year, which includes general, reserved and backlog vacancies.

🎓 Eligibility and Age Limit:
Candidate should be a graduate in any discipline.
Age limit should be between 21 to 30 years at the time of application. Age relaxation will be given to reserved categories as per the government.

💼 Selection Process:
SBI will select candidates in 3 stages:
1. Prelims Exam (Online – July/August 2025)
2. Mains Exam – September 2025
3. Group Discussion and Interview

💰 Salary & Benefits:
Newly recruited SBI PO officers will get a monthly salary of around ₹48,480–₹85,920. The total annual package including other allowances can be up to ₹20 lakh.
